The Assistant Controller will support the organizational units’ profitability and achievement of targets. Assist the controller in the leadership and coordination of financial planning, debt financing, and budget management functions. Ensure company accounting procedures conform to generally accepted accounting principles and maintain a comprehensive set of internal controls designed to mitigate risk and enhance the accuracy of the company’s reported financial results.

Responsibilities:

· Assist in the preparation of company financial planning and budget management functions

· Recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance

· Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget

· Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports of actual revenues, transfers (cash), and expenses

· Assist in the preparation of financial outlooks and financial forecasts

· Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements

· Assist in the development and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures

· Prepare Fixed Assets Appropriation Requests

· Perform customer financial review and prepare Credit Limit approval forms

Requirements:

· Must have minimum of 3 years experience working for a top 10 accounting firm – Deloitte, PwC, Ernst & Young, KPMG, McGladrey, Grant Thornton, CBIZ/Mayer Hoffman McCann, BDO, Crowe Horwath, or CliftonLarsonAllen

· Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business

· Must have 2 years of Internal Audit experience

· Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US-GAAP)

· Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations

· Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections

· Professional written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills

· Ability to produce quality work with tight deadlines while simultaneously managing several projects

· Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings

· Willing to travel domestically and internationally 5-10%
